The update allows AI agents to access the latest Claude models, including Claude Opus 4.7, with all actions governed by GitLab’s existing audit, policy, and compliance framework, eliminating the need for separate oversight systems. Enterprises can deploy these models via Google Cloud and AWS Bedrock, ensuring alignment with existing hyperscaler agreements, data residency requirements, and cloud governance strategies.
