Snow Software , the global leader in technology intelligence, introduced Snow Copilot, the first in a series of artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities designed to address major IT asset challenges Management (ITAM) and FinOps were developed. Developed at its innovation incubator Snow Labs, Snow Copilot is an AI assistant that allows users to informally ask questions and receive answers in natural language. At the time of publication, Snow Copilot for Software Asset Management (SAM) compute data is available in Snow Atlas and additional use cases are being explored on an ongoing basis.
Snow Labs is a diverse innovation initiative that helps companies make better decisions and achieve positive business outcomes with technology intelligence – the ability to understand and manage all technology data through Snow Atlas. The current project focuses on using artificial intelligence to deepen data insights and further explore opportunities to address multi-faceted ITAM and FinOps challenges. This is the first offering based on Snow AI.

Snow Copilot , one of the first AI assistants designed to solve complex ITAM and FinOps challenges, leverages the Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service. It allows customers to enter questions and get insights into their computer data, such as “ How many computers have been installed in the last 90 days?” “, or explore scenarios under different conditions directly in Snow Atlas. Snow Copilot reduces the need to export data to PowerBI or Excel to gain insights into advanced forecasting, asset allocation, or trending SAM computer data. All information remains in the customer environment to ensure data protection and integrity.
