Box launches technology collaboration with FUJIFILM Business Innovation
In recent years, many companies have embraced digital transformation, promoting various work styles and business efficiency, including remote work. In this environment, more than ever, business content must be easily viewed, searched, and securely shared anytime, anywhere, and from any device.
Owned by FUJIFILM Business Innovation Corporation, DocuWorks is a document handling software used by a cumulative total of 8 million licenses in Japan and Asia Pacific. Prior to this enhancement, DocuWorks documents had to be downloaded from Box to a DocuWorks-installed PC to view. In addition, because only file name search was available, it took added time to find desired content, sometimes hindering efficiency.

“We sincerely welcome the expansion of Box’s support for DocuWorks documents through this collaboration. Through DocuWorks, Fujifilm Business Innovation has been supporting the digitization of business operations based on the concept of an ‘electronic desk’ that reproduces the ease of handling paper on a PC. Through this collaboration, the Box service will enable users to directly search and view necessary documents ‘anywhere’ and support a variety of work styles that are not restricted by location, thereby contributing to the acceleration of customers’ digital transformation (DX). We will continue to strengthen our partnership with Box and provide a variety of solutions to help our customers improve their productivity and efficiency.”
