Virgin Media O2 expands partnership with Netcracker in extensive multi-year digital transformation program

Virgin Media O2

Netcracker Technology has announced its ongoing large-scale digital transformation program benefiting operators and their customers across the UK. We are pleased to announce that we have continued and expanded our partnership with Virgin Media O2.

Virgin Media O2’s digital transformation includes the introduction of its flagship NetCracker Digital Platform , which includes end-to-end digital BSS and digital OSS capabilities such as Active Resource Inventory. The platform will be used to support the operator’s Quad Play convergent services across Virgin Media O2’s consumer business lines including mobile, fixed line, broadband and cable. Virgin Media O2 will also introduce Netcracker’s professional services , including managed services and application development.

This modern, flexible and agile IT environment enables Virgin Media O2 to reduce OpEx, reduce time to market for new services, consolidate into a single product catalog, and take orders from order to cash. We expect this to deliver a number of business benefits, including streamlining processes and eliminating multiple systems for customer service representatives. Additionally, Virgin Media O2 will now be able to leverage a unified 360-degree customer view across all channels, resulting in more tailored interactions, better experiences and more robust service delivery. This allows us to offer you options.

Rapid digitalization is changing the landscape of today’s communications market. Constantly changing customer needs and behaviors require service providers to quickly adapt and diversify their operations to deliver the results customers expect.
