Avantra has unveiled Avantra 26, the latest version of its AIOps platform for SAP operations, introducing new AI-driven capabilities designed to significantly reduce incident investigation and resolution times for enterprise IT teams.
The release focuses on helping organizations manage increasingly complex SAP environments through deeper automation, expanded cloud integration, and real-time operational intelligence. Central to the update is the launch of Avantra AIR Root Cause Analyzer, an AI-powered engine that automatically investigates SAP incidents and provides structured diagnostics as soon as issues are detected.
Available as an additional licensed capability, Avantra AIR correlates logs, alerts, and system data across multiple SAP systems to identify probable root causes and recommend next steps. The company said the technology can transform troubleshooting processes that previously required hours of manual expert analysis into tasks completed within seconds.
“SAP operations teams have long had solutions that flag issues but leave it to experts to find the cause. Avantra AIR changes that. Engineers now get a diagnosis in seconds instead of hours. This is the AI-led shift that customers are demanding from their tech stack, and Avantra 26 brings it to our global customers,” said Brenton O’Callaghan, Chief Product Officer at Avantra.

According to Avantra, early adopters have reported up to a 60% reduction in mean time to insight and issue resolution, alongside a two- to threefold increase in automation efficiency. Organizations have also seen notable time savings for senior engineers managing SAP environments.
This release improves the interoperability between Avantra and SAP Cloud ALM by establishing two-way alert synchronization and exchange of system-related data, which enables Avantra teams to work directly with their SAP Cloud ALM instances. Moreover, Avantra 26 comes with improved automation discovery for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
One of the notable updates in this release is the new Automation Runner interface, designed to enable business users and first-level IT support specialists perform complicated SAP actions, including SAP system refreshes, using no advanced Basis knowledge at all.
The introduction of Avantra 26 is viewed by the company as an opportunity to provide its customers with better assistance in their SAP transformation. In light of current trends that drive companies towards more cloud-first approaches to SAP management, the company claims that this solution will become a tool for simplifying and accelerating modernization.
