Aravo and Orpheus Cyber Partner to Effectively Manage Third-Party Security Risks

Aravo and Orpheus Cyber Partner to Effectively Manage Third-Party Security Risks (1)

Aravo and Orpheus Cyber announced the integration of Aravo’s solution for third-party risk management and Orpheus Cyber’s threat intelligence for cyber risk ratings. With this integration, organizations can enrich InfoSec screenings of their third parties and broaden their decision data to include cyber threat risk ratings.

“We have learned from past security breaches that organizations that do not take proper precautions to protect themselves against third-party risk expose their businesses to both security threats and regulatory non-compliance,” said Rick Goad, vice president of customer success and strategic alliances at Aravo. “Partnering with Orpheus Cyber provides organizations with the intelligence to safely onboard vendors by knowing their cyber risk posture and be able to mitigate these risks using the Aravo solution.”

The Aravo integration with Orpheus Cyber refreshes cyber risk ratings at a customer-defined interval allowing risk intelligence data to be used in broader third-party modeling and to surface all data for simplified reporting. Aravo’s audit functionality provides insights into historical information and risk scores over time. Dashboards provide aggregated summaries of risk intelligence, including:

  • An intuitive UI experience to easily interpret threat and vulnerability risk levels
  • Color-coded scores to draw extra attention when elevated risk levels are present
  • Benchmark scores to compare a third party against identified sector average

“Orpheus Cyber is excited to partner with Aravo to help customers continuously monitor the security of their supply chains,” said Matt Townsend, vice president of business development at Orpheus Cyber. “Together, we’re strengthening the overall security of the third-party’s environments and evaluating the potential risks that could affect organizations.”

The Aravo Third Party Management platform provides a flexible integration framework to connect with risk intelligence vendors, either through pre-configured Aravo Connectors or open APIs. Aravo Connectors include standard-defined data packages and best practices to help streamline onboarding, enrich risk reviews, enhance continuous monitoring, and trigger alerts and workflows to log issues and generate corrective actions. Aravo dashboards provide aggregated views of risk scores for each third party across multiple risk domains including ESG, InfoSec, ABAC, GDPR, financial, ethics, supply chain, and business continuity.
