Deepwatch Expands Executive Team with Addition of CISO

Deepwatch, the leading managed security platform for the cyber resilient enterprise, announced that Trey Ford has joined the company as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). In this role, Ford will be responsible for leading the company’s Security and Information Technology teams, keeping the company secure and resilient, and partnering with Deepwatch’s customer community.

Ford brings more than 25 years of experience in program leadership focusing on business-first security. His work is grounded in incident response, based on learnings from successful and unsuccessful offensive and defensive measures, including fraud and abuse, public cloud, application, network, and platform security.

Prior to joining Deepwatch, Ford most recently served as Deputy CISO at Vista Equity Partners, where he worked with diligence and cyber risk management for dozens of companies in acquisition, integration, growth, and exits. Prior to Vista, he served as Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Trust for Heroku at Salesforce, General Manager of Black Hat, and has held strategic advisory and global consulting roles.
