This Swisscom initiative is part of a larger OSS transformation program and aims to create a modern digital architecture that is more flexible, future-proof, lower operating costs, and more automated.
Netcracker NDO provides an integrated automation solution that incorporates real-time and federated inventory to provide consistent visibility and a single source of truth. It also provides efficient network planning and design to accelerate network rollouts, and a DevOps-based design studio that uses vendor-agnostic resource modeling to quickly onboard new devices. The solution enables highly automated processes, from device onboarding to rollout planning, physical and logical discovery, and reconciliation, and is compatible with any combination of transport network vendors. This cloud-native solution will enable Swisscom to share TITAN inventory data in real-time with multiple external systems using open APIs and state-of-the-art communications technology.
With NDO, Swisscom will be able to respond more quickly to market changes, reduce network rollout, development and operational costs, and increase team autonomy.
