Arrcus continues network innovation – supported by new $30 million investment

Arrcus

Arrcus, the hyperscale networking software company and leading provider of core, edge and multi-cloud routing and switching infrastructure, announced a significant new investment of $30 million from Prosperity7 Ventures, NVIDIA, Lightspeed, Hitachi Ventures, Liberty Global, Clear Ventures and General Catalyst. The growing investor interest in the company reflects Arrcus’ success with leading Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers and will help the company expand platform support, accelerate growth and continue to deliver cost-effective and transformative networking solutions to its global customers.

With the rapid adoption of AI, the need for distributed networking is growing to increase the efficiency of computing infrastructures spanning data centers, 5G, edge, and hybrid and multi-cloud environments of enterprises, cloud and network operators. Arrcus’ unique routing and switching platform, Arrcus Connected Edge (ACE), features a distributed microservices architecture that is flexible, high-performance, scalable, fully programmable, modular and hybrid cloud ready. It can be deployed across multiple form factors such as data processing units (DPUs), commercial silicon chips or computing platforms and supports a wide range of use cases including low-latency data center networking, modern edge deployments, telecom access and transport, and hybrid multi-cloud connectivity.

Arrcus’ ACE networking platform, powered by NVIDIA BlueField DPU , enables customers to efficiently offload, accelerate, and isolate compute-intensive network applications such as security and traffic engineering . With emerging GenAI applications, this enables customers to benefit from secure, high-performance connectivity within the data center while achieving higher utilization and energy efficiency for compute-intensive workloads.
