eBay partners with Checkout.com for global payments

eBay has announced a strategic global partnership with Checkout.com to streamline its payment processing, enabling faster and more secure transactions for buyers and sellers worldwide. Under this agreement, Checkout.com will become eBay’s primary payment acquirer in key markets, including the UK and Europe, handling card processing and payouts while supporting multiple payment methods. This move aligns with eBay’s broader strategy to simplify its payments ecosystem and improve user experience. “We are excited to partner with Checkout.com to deliver a seamless payments experience for our customers,” said Alyssa Cutright, eBay’s VP of Global Payments.

The collaboration will leverage Checkout.com’s scalable infrastructure and fraud detection capabilities to enhance efficiency and reduce operational complexities.
