Arista Expands AI-Driven Campus & Branch Network Solutions

Arista Networks

Arista Networks, a leader in cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) networking solutions, announced the expansion of its enterprise portfolio with the launch of several AI-powered products across switching, Wi-Fi 7 access, and WAN technologies. As part of this strategic move, Arista has acquired the VeloCloud® SD-WAN portfolio from Broadcom, strengthening its position in delivering end-to-end, intelligent client-to-cloud networking experiences.

These innovations aim to streamline enterprise operations through zero-touch provisioning, proactive monitoring, and automated troubleshooting—key pillars for businesses embracing data-driven and AI-enabled strategies. With enterprise networks increasingly expected to support generative and agentic AI workloads, organizations are focusing on seamless data integration across distributed environments—from core data centers to branch offices. In this evolving landscape, Arista is delivering high-performance, secure, and easy-to-operate networking infrastructure tailored to enterprise needs.

Arista’s dedication to innovation and operational simplicity has earned it recognition in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Enterprise Wired and Wireless LAN Infrastructure, where the company was positioned as the vendor with the highest Ability to Execute in the Visionaries Quadrant.

Enhancing Branch Connectivity with VeloCloud

The integration of VeloCloud brings Arista a proven cloud-delivered SD-WAN solution set that includes secure edge hardware platforms with embedded firewall capabilities, Wi-Fi, and 5G connectivity. These offerings complement Arista’s robust CloudEOS® routing and 7000-series WAN routers, enabling comprehensive global WAN connectivity for enterprise and branch environments.

“We have been using Arista and VeloCloud in production environments,” stated Alan Davidson, CIO of Broadcom Inc. “The addition of the VeloCloud edge strengthens and scales the enterprise WAN network.”

In addition, Arista has introduced the AWE-7220R WAN router for regional deployments. When combined with the previously launched AWE-7230R and AWE-7250R, enterprises can build highly scalable hub-spine architectures and VeloCloud-powered micro-edge topologies.

Next-Gen Campus and Branch Innovations

To support modern IoT use cases and dynamic retail needs, Arista unveiled a compact Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) switch and a new range of cost-effective Wi-Fi 7 indoor and outdoor access points designed for campus and branch environments, including industrial and retail scenarios.

“We’re thrilled with Arista’s access point integration with VusionGroup’s Electronic Shelf Labels,” said Dean Penebacker, IT Director, Pan Pacific Retail Management (PPRM) Hawaii. “This seamless integration with our existing systems means we can manage pricing dynamically and reduce labor costs, all while ensuring accuracy at the shelf edge. It’s the innovative technology we need to stay competitive in today’s retail landscape.”

Key highlights include:

  • A compact, fanless 12-port PoE switch with 60W capability, ideal for remote branches.

  • The O-435: a rugged outdoor Wi-Fi 7 access point designed for tough environments.

  • The C-400: a budget-friendly, tri-radio indoor Wi-Fi 7 access point tailored for MSPs and SMBs.

Arista Networks’ new low-cost, compact, fanless switch platform and entry-level Wi-Fi 7 access point are a perfect fit for our clients with small distributed offices and branches,” said Neil Dearman, CTO EMEA, High Point Solutions, Inc. “As a channel partner, we can address the unique needs of our clients with enterprise-grade technology that’s easy to deploy and manage, all while keeping costs in check. It’s a win-win for us and our customers.”

Simplified Zero Trust for the Distributed Edge

Arista is enhancing its CloudVision® AGNI (CV AGNI™) platform to include full on-premises deployment options, catering to customers with strict compliance and regulatory demands. This update enables secure, scalable AI-driven network access control across both large and distributed enterprise environments. New virtual ZTX platforms supporting 1G and 10G also bring identity-based microsegmentation to remote offices and small campuses.

“For years, we searched for a solution to secure our network and district resources without adding complexity, financial strain, or management challenges,” said Najeeb Qasimi, Director of IT, Oak Grove School District. “Arista CV AGNI allows us to effortlessly implement and maintain policies, while its secure client connectivity ensures every student, teacher, and device—whether on district-provided or personal equipment—remains protected. This powerful, hassle-free tool has revolutionized how we safeguard and operate our network.”

With these advancements, Arista continues to lead the way in AI-driven networking for the modern enterprise, empowering customers to build intelligent, secure, and agile infrastructures from core to edge.
