Technology veteran to lead product amid growing demand for drug pricing transparency and elimination of wasteful spending.
Kalderos, a healthcare technology company building the industry’s only truly independent platform for drug discount management and revenue integrity, announced the appointment of Meghal Patel as Chief Product Officer. Patel will leverage his deep background in data, AI, and healthcare technology to lead Kalderos’ product strategy and execution, advancing the company’s mission of delivering innovative, transparent drug pricing solutions.
Patel brings more than two decades of experience leading product innovation at the intersection of data and healthcare and is widely recognized for his ability to lead teams that deliver intuitive, high-performing platforms at scale. He most recently served as Vice President of Product Management at Truveta, where he led the development of AI-driven clinical data platforms used to improve research and health outcomes. Before Truveta, he held senior product leadership roles at Tableau, where he helped scale one of the world’s most widely adopted data visualization platforms.
“Meghal comes to us with a unique combination of technical depth, product vision, and expertise in AI-driven innovation,” said Angie Franks, CEO of Kalderos. “His robust experience and ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights make him the ideal fit for Kalderos as we scale our impact. Meghal’s leadership will be key as we continue to build the next generation of tools for drug pricing transparency.”

As the landscape of drug discounts and government programs continues to expand, the associated increase in complexity introduces greater risk of wasteful spending, ultimately impacting patient access and affordability. Kalderos’ platform addresses this by bringing greater transparency to these programs and aligning drug manufacturers, payers, and providers with a single source of truth for drug pricing and discounts. The addition of Patel signals the company’s continued investment in advanced data architecture and intelligent product design, aimed at reducing administrative waste, increasing accuracy, and ensuring compliance across the pharmaceutical ecosystem.
“I’m honored to join Kalderos at such an important time in healthcare,” said Patel. “The opportunity to lead product in a mission-driven company that’s harnessing AI and data to bring greater fairness and efficiency to drug pricing is incredibly exciting. I look forward to working with the team to deliver meaningful impact for our customers, and ultimately, for patients.”
