Reality Defender, an award-winning deepfake detection platform, announced Brian Levin as Chief Revenue Officer. As CRO, Levin will lead Reality Defender’s go-to-market strategy, overseeing Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success as the company expands its presence across financial institutions and government agencies. Levin will also drive enablement around Reality Defender’s recently launched Public API and SDK.
“The deepfake threat has moved from theoretical to ever-present, and enterprises of all sizes need proven detection capabilities now,” said Ben Colman, Co-Founder and CEO of Reality Defender. “Brian brings the exact enterprise software, product-led growth expertise, and cybersecurity credibility we need to scale rapidly.”
Levin brings over 15 years of experience scaling high-growth software companies in cybersecurity. His appointment comes at a critical time as organizations and agencies face escalating threats from AI-generated media via fraud attempts, disinformation campaigns, and identity verification breaches.

Previously, he held VP roles at Fairwinds and Cobalt.io, where he built go-to-market strategies and established repeatable sales motions for complex security platforms.
“Organizations are waking up to the reality that deepfakes are actively being weaponized today,” said Levin. “Reality Defender builds the most powerful detection technology in the market, and I’m thrilled to help enterprises and governments operationalize these capabilities at scale. Our work helps organizations maintain trust in an era where seeing is no longer believing.”
Levin’s appointment strengthens Reality Defender’s executive team following the company’s landmark launch of a Public API and free tier offering.
