Lambda, the “Superintelligence Cloud,” announced it has signed a multibillion-dollar, multi-year agreement with Microsoft to deploy high-performance AI infrastructure built on tens of thousands of NVIDIA GPUs, including the latest NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems.
The strategic collaboration marks a significant expansion of access to mission-critical cloud-based accelerated computing resources, in response to soaring global demand for large-scale AI compute.

“It’s great to watch the Microsoft and Lambda teams working together to deploy these massive AI supercomputers,” said Stephen Balaban, CEO of Lambda. “We’ve been working with Microsoft for more than eight years, and this is a phenomenal next step in our relationship.”
Lambda noted that the agreement underscores the strong growth in high-performance computing driven by enterprise AI adoption and the rapid spread of AI assistants. “We believe Lambda’s push to deploy gigawatt-scale AI factories is supporting one of the most significant technological shifts in human history,” the company added.
