Atropos Health, a pioneer in translating real-world clinical data into personalized real-world evidence (RWE) and insights, announced the Atropos Evidence Agent, an expert agent in generating RWE integrated with Microsoft Teams for the delivery of personalized evidence. Multidisciplinary care team members can call the Atropos Evidence Agent during a Microsoft Teams session and the Atropos Evidence Agent will deliver personalized RWE for clinical decision making. Atropos Health previously announced the intent to integrate with Microsoft Dragon Copilot, an AI clinical assistant with ambient capabilities, to save physicians time by providing access to personalized evidence integrated into the electronic health record (EHR) at the point of care generated from Stanford data, including patient information generated by Microsoft Dragon.
The Atropos Evidence™ Agent generates personalized RWE embedded in the EHR or delivered within agentic workflows or orchestration via Microsoft 365 and Teams where it can collaborate with other specialized agents within use cases such as care coordination or multidisciplinary team meetings like Tumor Boards. Use cases such as Tumor Boards allow physicians to stay in Microsoft Teams and access RWE during the discussion with the broader care team. The Atropos Evidence™ Agent helps to manage complex patient cases, and reduces delays that can be caused by previously unanswerable questions that require tailored evidence for comparable patients on demand.
Atropos Health will be demonstrating this capability today at the Microsoft Ignite conference in a session called “Ambient Evidence Automation at the Point of Care.”

“Adding access to the Atropos Evidence Agent into Microsoft Teams means that Care Team collaborations can now make decisions based on personalized RWE for that patient,” said Dr. Brigham Hyde, CEO and co-founder at Atropos Health. “Delivering tailored, patient-specific evidence directly into the care team meeting, right at the moment it’s needed will advance patient care. The team dynamic will now shift from reactive searching to proactive, evidence-driven care for every patient.”
“The use cases for agentic AI in healthcare continue to advance rapidly, improving efficiency and effectiveness for health systems, providers, and the patients they serve,” said Peter Durlach, CVP and Chief Strategy Officer, Microsoft Health & Life Sciences. “Our ongoing collaboration with Atropos Health to build AI solutions that make real-world, personalized evidence accessible within existing clinical workflows benefits the entire healthcare ecosystem.”
Today’s announcement follows Atropos Health’s AI model training capabilities released earlier this year. Atropos Evidence™ Network membership benefits include the ability to leverage the network to deliver AI models to clinicians. Healthcare organizations are also engaged with Atropos Health on leveraging AI for precision medicine, and building MOTOR, CLMBR and Foundation models on the Atropos Evidence Network.
