OpenAI has taken an ownership stake in Thrive Holdings the investment vehicle of Thrive Capital aiming to accelerate the adoption of artificial intelligence across traditional business-service sectors. Under the new arrangement, OpenAI will embed its research, product, and engineering teams directly into companies acquired or operated by Thrive Holdings, beginning with accounting and IT services industries characterized by high-volume, rules-based workflows where AI can deliver near-immediate gains.
