The partnership leverages Google’s Gemini AI models that help boost analytics and AI-enabled workflows on the Cohesity Data Cloud. In fact, Cohesity’s enterprise AI assistant, Gaia, is already offering natural language-driven insights of enterprise data estates and extracting value from unstructured data sets. Moving forward, the integration of Google Cloud’s Vertex AI Search is also optimal, allowing it to make accurate and citation-backed answers possible through use of the immortal AI-ready data lake from Cohesity. Integration with Gemini Enterprise is also going to help the partnership achieve safe access to historical data from enterprise systems and workflows that are connected.
Improved Cybersecurity Posture
Catering to better threat detection and response, Cohesity’s system is integrated with Google Threat Intelligence and provides high-fidelity indicators of compromise (IOCs) so that cyber threats can be used for proactive threat hunting and remediation by organizations today itself. Cohesity’s Cyber Event Response Team (CERT) working in combination with Google Cloud’s Mandiant Incident Response is further helping in quick restoration from cyber events. Integration of Cohesity’s system with Google Security Operations tools is planned, aiming at automating security processes and quickening response times.
Plans for a cloud isolated cyber resilience SaaS solution are also underway for providing a secure means of restoration in scenarios when primary systems are compromised or vulnerable to cyber threats.
