Global financial services leader BNY has launched its Digital Transfer Agency (TA) capabilities, extending its enterprise fund servicing infrastructure to natively support digital asset funds alongside traditional investment vehicles across multiple jurisdictions and public blockchains. By integrating tokenization, distribution, and custody into an end-to-end framework, the service enables fully on-chain legal representation of fund records, facilitating peer-to-peer mobility alongside fiat and stablecoin subscriptions and redemptions. BNY’s integrated digital assets ecosystem which includes a newly introduced digitally-native Dreyfus money market fund featuring BLIQUID tokens will initially roll out to select enterprise clients across the U.S. and U.K. Contextualizing the platform’s role in advancing financial infrastructure, Emily Portney, Global Head of Asset Servicing at BNY, stated: “With this new capability, BNY is helping power the future of financial markets through digital market infrastructure with a global, scalable platform that integrates tokenization, distribution, and custody. We are excited to support clients as they expand into new asset classes, enabling true on-chain mobility of real-world assets, with legal representation of the fund’s books and records on a public blockchain.”
