Finzly Launches ‘Assure’ AI Security and Intelligence Layer for Modern Banking

Finzly

Financial technology innovator Finzly announced the launch of Assure, an artificial intelligence-driven security, compliance, and assurance architecture embedded within its Agentic Galaxy AI suite. Designed to reinforce BankOS Finzly’s core operating system for financial institutions the technology integrates continuous threat monitoring, automated compliance auditing, and operational resilience directly into the underlying banking software infrastructure.

The release arrives amid a shifting cybersecurity landscape, where autonomous AI agents execute rapid, multi-stage attacks against live production banking environments. According to TrendAI’s Modern Bank Heists 2026 report, AI-enabled cyberattacks targeting financial institutions surged 89% year over year, with 67% of surveyed organizations reporting active counter-defense tactics by adversaries during live security incidents.

“Banking is entering a new era where attacks happen at machine speed, requiring that intelligence, innovation, and trust evolve together,” said Booshan Rengachari, founder and CEO of Finzly. “BankOS was created to help financial institutions continuously evolve, and never has that been more needed than with AI. We introduced Agentic Galaxy to transform banking operations with AI, and with Assure we are extending that intelligence into security and resilience, helping banks innovate faster while maintaining the trust their customers depend on.”

Transitioning from Periodic Audits to Continuous AI Assurance

The Finzly Assure system is built around one fundamental innovation-the shift from traditional “point in time” compliance checks to constant real-time validation. Instead of gathering documents one by one in preparation for a yearly audit, Assure uses AI and continuously observes system telemetry to detect operational anomalies, check internal controls and alert about potential risk breaches automatically.

To keep operations running safely and smoothly, Finzly is still keeping the human element of oversight even as algorithms in the system will gradually be refined by Finzly. Fully automated workflows will be part of platform updates in the future

Key functional capabilities of Finzly Assure include:

Accelerated Threat Detection & Triage: Utilizes machine learning models to analyze incident signals, shortening investigation timelines for security teams.

Continuous Attack Surface Monitoring: Replaces static periodic risk assessments with real-time tracking across traditional and cloud-native banking interfaces.

Dual-Track Security Testing: Extends automated vulnerability scanning across both traditional software codebases and AI-assisted application pipelines.

Automated Compliance Auditing: Collects and aggregates regulatory evidence continuously, eliminating manual reporting overhead for compliance officers.

Supro Ghose, Chief Information Security Officer at Finzly, added, “As financial institutions embrace AI, security must evolve alongside innovation. As AI security researcher Roman V. Yampolskiy has written, “our best hope to defend against AI-enabled hacking is by using AI” Assure represents our commitment to making security and intelligence foundational elements of BankOS, helping banks operate with greater confidence in an increasingly complex digital environment.”

Expanding the Agentic Galaxy Infrastructure

Finzly Assure expands upon the technological framework established by the company’s Agentic Galaxy launch in October 2025, which introduced agentic AI into payment processing and core banking operations. By embedding security controls directly into BankOS, Finzly enables regional and enterprise banks to accelerate modern software development while preserving institutional trust and regulatory compliance.
