Tech Mahindra has unveiled its AWS Agentic Process Transformation (APT) Center of Excellence (CoE), first and foremost an undertaking to assist enterprises that want to move beyond the phase of experimenting with AI and adopt agentic AI in a measurable business operation manner. The CoE joins Tech Mahindra BPS’s process knowledge with AWS cloud and agentic AI to build, at least to a certain level, industry-wide solutions tailored for efficiency and productivity boost, cost reduction, decision-enhancing, and fast-tracking pilots to production. Through this venture, enterprises in telecommunications healthcare banking and financial services, retail, and manufacturing will find support. “Enterprises are moving quickly on AI, but many still struggle to scale beyond pilots and fragmented use cases,” said Birendra Sen, President – Business Process Services, Tech Mahindra.

“With the AWS APT CoE, we are bringing together Tech Mahindra BPS’ process expertise and AWS-native AI capabilities to help customers operationalize Agentic AI with stronger governance, faster execution, and measurable business impact.” The CoE has already demonstrated its potential through Collections Guru, an agentic AI-powered collections solution jointly developed by Tech Mahindra and AWS and deployed by UK-based financial services outsourcing provider Target Group. Built on AWS cloud and AI infrastructure, the solution delivered approximately 40% efficiency gains by autonomously optimizing collection strategies. Katie Pender, Chief Operating Officer, Target Group, said, “Since introducing the Collections Guru agent, we’re seeing encouraging early results, including anticipated efficiency gains of around 40% in the areas where it’s been rolled out. It’s been a valuable step in how we’re modernising our operations.” The launch strengthens Tech Mahindra’s AWS-focused AI services strategy and expands opportunities for enterprises seeking production-ready agentic AI transformation.
