Abcam and Genedata Collaborate to Accelerate AI-Driven Antibody Development

Abcam and Genedata have expanded their collaboration to strengthen global antibody development through advanced data management, automation, and AI-enabled innovation. The initiative will deploy Genedata Biologics® across Abcam’s global R&D organization, combining Abcam’s expertise in antibody development with Genedata’s enterprise software and proprietary data model to create a unified digital foundation for scientific teams. The platform has been implemented at Abcam’s headquarters in the UK and key sites in China and the US, connecting cross-functional teams and improving consistency, visibility, and collaboration throughout the antibody development lifecycle. Genedata Biologics provides a digital backbone for Abcam’s pipeline, which delivers approximately 500 new antibodies to the market annually, while enabling researchers to manage complex workflows, track sample histories, and capture and analyze antibody characterization data within a secure, structured environment.
