OpenText Corporation and sovereign AI leader Cohere have announced a strategic partnership at the ALL IN AI conference to deliver trusted, enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions tailored for governments and highly regulated organizations. The collaboration combines OpenText’s data management and context layer which unlocks unstructured, operational, and transactional data with Cohere’s North agentic AI platform and foundation models for advanced orchestration and automation. Targeted for general client availability in early 2027, the integrated solution will embed Cohere’s technology directly into OpenText’s Aviator AI agents while supporting flexible deployment across on-premises, private, public, and sovereign cloud environments. The alliance includes joint product development, coordinated go-to-market execution, and a strategic reseller agreement through OpenText’s SOLEX program.

Emphasizing the foundational role of enterprise data, Ayman Antoun, Chief Executive Officer of OpenText, stated: “Data is not the supporting act; it is what gives agentic AI the context it needs to perform. OpenText brings the data and context layer, while Cohere brings the orchestration and models that turn that data into agentic AI that acts with purpose.” Highlighting the operational transition from testing to enterprise deployment, Aidan Gomez, CEO and co-founder of Cohere, added: “By bringing North and our models together with OpenText’s trusted data and context, we’re giving organizations a secure path to move agentic AI from pilot to production and put it to work across the systems and workflows their teams rely on every day.” Ultimately, by unifying robust data governance with secure frontier models, the joint initiative provides risk-sensitive enterprise and public-sector organizations with a compliant, sovereign foundation to automate complex workflows and scale agentic AI effectively.
