Thales has introduced a comprehensive, all-in-one cybersecurity structure to help critical organizations defend against a new generation of threats enabled by frontier AI models, where their increased reasoning, autonomy, and scale can speed up discovery of flaws, creation of exploits and execution of cyberattacks at machine speed. Announced at the Thales Cyber Summit in Paris, the structure is designed to evolve organizations from a reactive mode of cybersecurity to one of continuously tested resilience by integrating threat intelligence, vulnerability management, exposure management detection mitigation and testing effectiveness along the security lifecycle. The system’s five interdependent components focus on application security, AI-accelerated detection and response, a converged cyberdefence platform, continuous testing and risk assessment, and the defences and continuity of critical assets. Thales notes the importance of automation via AI to keep pace with AI-driven attacks, but underscore the need for critical decisions to be made by human minds.

“Frontier AI models represent a new inflection point for cybersecurity. The challenge is not only technological; it is about helping organisations act before risks materialize, understand the implications, assess their exposure, and, if an attack still succeeds, ensure resilience and quick recovery. By combining advanced technologies with strategic and operational cybersecurity services, our ambition is to give customers the insight, expertise and continuous support they need to navigate this new reality with confidence,” said Philippe Vallée, Executive Vice-President, Cybersecurity & Digital Identity, Thales. The company is also strengthening the framework through partnerships with technology providers, including its participation in Google’s Fairwind program, which will provide critical industries access to cyber AI innovations such as Gemini 3.8 Flash Cyber and the CodeMender harness. The initiative reflects Thales’ strategy to combine AI-powered defence, cybersecurity expertise, and continuous resilience to help organizations protect critical infrastructure as attackers increasingly operate at machine speed.
