Rafay Systems Partners with Lenovo AI Innovators to Drive Infrastructure Monetization Across Global Markets

Rafay Systems

Rafay Systems, a cloud-native orchestration platform company, has partnered with Lenovo, an AI innovator in a global network committed to bringing enterprise-ready AI software and hardware solutions.

In the collaboration, Rafay Platform is being deployed with Lenovo’s high-performance AI hardware infrastructure. The two companies are working together to coordinate sales across the regions of Americas, EMEA, APAC, simplifying management of hybrid AI infrastructure for neo cloud providers, telecommunication companies, and global enterprises.

Closing the Operations Gap Between GPU Capabilities and AI Service Delivery

With enterprise AI investments moving from simple hardware investments to managing GPUs as cloud services, there are many challenges facing data center operators. Transforming from mere hardware setup to full-fledged AI infrastructure entails multi-tenant data isolation, strict quotas, automated self-service portals, and usage metering; all of which normally take months of software customization to build.

Deployment of the Rafay Platform with Lenovo infrastructure closes these technical gaps. Rafay provides the critical control plane that makes hybrid AI workload management easy across data centers, private clouds, and neo clouds.

Key operational capabilities delivered through the joint solution include:

End-to-End Infrastructure Lifecycle Management: Automates provisioning and orchestration across bare-metal servers, virtual machines, Kubernetes clusters, and GPU hardware.

AI Token Factory Integration: Enables cloud operators to package and publish AI models as token-metered inference APIs, allowing precise revenue tracking based on real-time consumption.

Multi-Tenant Governance & Security: Enforces strict tenant isolation, role-based access controls, and policy-driven compute allocations to ensure secure resource sharing.

Streamlined SKU & Compute Management: Simplifies how cloud operators package, price, and sell GPU capacity to enterprise end users.

Real-World Deployment and Industry Validation

The collaboration builds on an established foundation of joint customer deployments globally. A prominent example includes Sharon AI, an Australian publicly traded neocloud provider that leverages Rafay’s software platform on top of Lenovo hardware to orchestrate its AI processing infrastructure. Additionally, Rafay and Lenovo are actively expanding a growing joint sales pipeline targeting sovereign AI clouds and telecommunications providers worldwide.

“The hard part of AI infrastructure is operating GPUs as a service: shared safely across tenants, governed by policy, and metered so every GPU hour or token ties back to revenue,” said Rupen Shah, Global AI Ecosystem Partnerships at Rafay Systems. “That operating layer is what Rafay builds. Lenovo customers already rely on Lenovo for the infrastructure, and with Rafay they can run it as a hybrid AI platform, whether they are an enterprise building private AI or a neocloud selling GPU capacity and tokens.”

Expanding Global Enterprise Accessibility

By integrating Rafay’s orchestration platform into Lenovo‘s global distribution network—which spans channel partners across more than 180 markets the partnership provides organizations with a proven framework to maximize GPU utilization, accelerate time-to-market for AI services, and maintain strict operational governance.
