Gigamon launches the GigaVUE-GSA110 network appliance along with updates to the Application Metadata Intelligence (AMI) software for extending the Deep Observability Pipeline for AI-driven network and security operations. The launch is aimed at enterprises that run highly complex hybrid cloud architectures where AI models, applications, services, and agents coexist in an environment of public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises architecture. The new network appliance provides additional capabilities in distributed processing, in addition to the Gigamon visibility infrastructure already available.

The compact 1RU form factor makes it possible to do the processing of AMI through up to 400 Gbps of network traffic and provide optimized packet delivery through up to 800 Gbps. Thus, organizations will be able to grow their application intelligence and packet optimization as network traffic grows.“Hybrid AI and agentic workflows will fundamentally change how enterprises operate and secure increasingly distributed infrastructure,” said Gareth Maclachlan, chief operating officer at Gigamon. “As network and security operations become more AI-enabled, they need consistent, trusted network context to analyze activity and make informed decisions. The GigaVUE-GSA110 extends the Deep Observability Pipeline with distributed processing capacity and application intelligence at scale, helping organizations investigate issues faster, strengthen governance, and build a stronger foundation for AI-enabled operations.”
