Tines Unveils 3B to Secure and Govern Enterprise AI Workflows

Tines

Tines, an intelligent workflow automation platform, announced the launch of Tines 3B. The AI-native platform provides global enterprises with a unified environment to build, deploy, and govern automated workflows, custom applications, and autonomous agents securely at scale.

The release arrives as generative AI coding tools enable non-technical employees to develop custom software applications in minutes. However, this sudden surge in decentralized development often termed “vibe-coding” frequently occurs outside traditional IT oversight, exposing organizations to shadow AI, data leaks, and compliance gaps. A recent IBM study revealed that 77% of CxOs report AI adoption is already outpacing their current enterprise governance capabilities.

“AI has made creating software almost effortless. The hard part isn’t building anymore, it’s connecting that software to your systems, knowing what’s running, whether you can trust it, and who’s responsible for it. We saw that challenge emerging again and again with customers and started referring to it as ‘Wild Code.’ Once we understood the problem, it became obvious that simply bolting AI onto our existing product wasn’t the answer”, said Eoin Hinchy, Tines co-founder and CEO. “We built Tines 3B because we believe enterprises need an environment designed specifically to build, run and govern AI-generated workflows, applications and agents.”

Tines 3B resolves technical debt and security visibility gaps by serving as a central control plane for all organizational apps, autonomous agents, and integrations. The system accommodates workflows constructed natively within Tines or built through third-party coding assistants, providing IT and security teams with full operational oversight.

Key operational capabilities of the Tines 3B platform include:

Natural Language Construction: Allows users to describe functional requirements in natural language. Tines 3B automatically generates the workflow while restricting access strictly to pre-authorized enterprise tools and data sources.

Isolated Execution & Self-Healing: Every workflow step executes inside an ephemeral, completely isolated environment that disappears upon completion, preventing cross-contamination between processes. Built-in self-healing mechanisms automatically resolve data inconsistencies to ensure continuous operation.

Unified Observability & Control: Centralizes monitoring across every active application and agent, providing administrative logging, credential protection, and strict access management.

“For years, Tines has been a trusted tool for our IT team and 3B is an exciting step forward,” said Emanuele Sparvoli, Senior Director of IT at Fin, formerly known as Intercom. “It provides an environment where employees across our organization can build their own workflows, while our IT team retains the control and governance needed to enable innovation at scale.

“Like many IT teams, we think carefully about the governance challenges that come with AI security risks, rising costs and shadow AI. 3B’s governance and monitoring capabilities, including strong credential protection and access controls, were central to our decision to deploy it. We’re a few weeks into our rollout and already see 3B becoming a critical part of how teams build at Fin.”
