ServiceNow makes strategic investment in leading consulting and implementation partner Plat4mation

ServiceNow

ServiceNow, the leading digital workflow company, and Keensight Capital announced a strategic investment in global IT consulting firm Plat4mation , a leading ServiceNow implementation partner. ServiceNow Ecosystem Ventures’ first European investment aims to accelerate time-to-value for customers and drive partner growth by expanding go-to-market capabilities and enhancing ServiceNow’s GenAI capabilities . Plat4mation plans to leverage and expand its ServiceNow experiences and credentials across its global customer and employee base. Given the enormous market potential, Plat4Mation will initially focus on digital transformation in the critical segment of German medium-sized businesses.

Medium-sized businesses are an important economic factor in Germany and make up 99% of the 3.4 million companies in the country . In many places, the major goal of digitalization and transformation through AI is faced with problems in areas such as data protection, security requirements, talent skills and technological standards. As a company headquartered in Europe, Plat4Mation will leverage its expertise and relationships to increase ServiceNow adoption and value in the region.

“We continue to see great growth potential in the German and Central European markets,” said David Parsons, Senior Vice President of Ecosystem Ventures at ServiceNow. “That’s why we need experienced professionals and partners to help our customers leverage their ServiceNow investments faster. As a valued partner, Plat4mation has been instrumental in selling and delivering increased value and compelling results to our mutual customers worldwide. Now the company plans to expand its expertise in the areas of digital transformation and generative AI to selected use cases in some of the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany, thereby supporting their competitiveness, differentiation and growth.”

The goal is to leverage Plat4mation’s expertise in helping enterprise customers modernize and digitally transform to unlock the benefits of the Now Platform for a new cross-industry sector. As part of this investment, the company plans to hire 400 ServiceNow professionals in Germany and Central Europe, furthering Rise up with ServiceNow’s efforts to train one million people to use the Now Platform.

“Over the last decade, our global team has grown to 450 people, helping our customers optimize workflows in every area of their business by providing ServiceNow consulting, industry and domain expertise,” explains Elmer de Valk, CEO of Plat4mation. “As a 100% ServiceNow partner, our success has always been linked to that of ServiceNow. The investment is a recognition of our long-standing, mutually profitable partnership. We look forward to continuing to contribute to ServiceNow’s success by strategically expanding our presence in German mid-market, EMEA and the US.”

ServiceNow Ecosystem Ventures is investing in Plat4mation alongside lead investor Keensight Capital. Ecosystem Ventures was founded in May 2023 and has already invested in Blueship Co., Ltd. and Japan System Co., Ltd. and invested in ANSR in India.
