CloudApp Launches New Integrations for Microsoft Teams and Slack

CloudApp

CloudApp, a leading provider of visual communication tools, currently rebranding to Zight,  announced new integrations with Microsoft Teams and Slack, enabling better communications with a seamless workflow for adding visual enhancements.

Through these integrations, teams can communicate with better context and clarity, minimizing lengthy chat exchanges by sharing video explanations and tutorials and highlighting specific information in annotated screenshots. The integrations are currently available in their respective marketplaces: CloudApp for Microsoft Teams and CloudApp for Slack.

“Our mission is to help people be happier and more productive through better communication. Through these integrations, we are reducing points of friction in asynchronous chat communications, allowing them to connect on a more human level and in a more efficient way,” said CloudApp CEO, Scott Smith. “We’re excited to make Slack and Microsoft Teams an even more effective communication channel for their customers, right where they work every day.”

CloudApp for Microsoft Teams streamlines communication and collaboration by allowing users to receive real-time notifications when content is viewed and to seamlessly share quick videos and screen captures in Teams. Users can easily communicate complex ideas in seconds by pasting a link or dragging and dropping content into a Teams message.

CloudApp for Slack enhances its existing integration enabling users to record videos directly from Slack via a simple launch command without leaving Slack. No extra clicks. No extra navigation. Users will also receive real-time CloudApp notifications directly in their Slack channel (i.e. get notified when someone comments on a video, reacts to a screenshot, or a shared link gets its first view) without leaving Slack!

Both integrations allow users to leverage videos, screen recordings, annotated screenshots, and GIFs created in CloudApp to convey important information quickly and effectively, saving time and helping keep projects on track. This makes personalized recordings easily shareable in any channel or direct message without the friction of multi-step upload and download workflows or the need for additional tools.

“We’re proud to remain focused on improving communication for users across the globe. Adding visuals to their existing systems and tools allow team members to build stronger relationships, and stay connected, even when working remotely,” said Smith. ”And we’re excited to bring more integrations like these to market as our new brand name, Zight, in the future.”
