C1Secure Introduces SmartReady to Strengthen Governance for Rapid ServiceNow Releases

C1Secure

C1Secure has launched SmartReady, a new release assurance solution designed to help enterprises validate, govern, and certify ServiceNow platform changes before they reach production environments. The launch expands the company’s growing portfolio of governance and AI security offerings aimed at supporting organizations accelerating enterprise AI adoption.

The new product builds on the company’s earlier SmartAI Ops release, which focused on giving CIOs and CFOs greater visibility into AI operations through integration with ServiceNow AI Control Tower. With SmartReady, C1Secure is targeting ServiceNow Platform Owners who are responsible for managing the growing complexity of rapid application releases and AI-driven workflows.

As enterprises increasingly adopt AI-assisted development tools, autonomous workflows, and low-code platforms, organizations face mounting pressure to maintain governance, compliance, and audit readiness while speeding up software delivery. SmartReady addresses these challenges by analyzing ServiceNow artifacts such as access controls, business rules, integrations, workflows, scripts, approval logic, and scheduled jobs before deployment.

The platform also evaluates how changes may affect governance, risk, and compliance processes, while automatically routing reviews and collecting supporting evidence for change approvals and audits. For AI-generated or business-built applications, SmartReady creates an “App Passport” that documents critical details including app intent, integrations, data access, automation paths, and governance impacts.

“The ServiceNow Platform Owner is being asked to ship faster than ever, to more builders than ever, with AI-built and business-built apps coming in from every direction,” said JJ Contessa, Chief Operating Officer at C1Secure. “SmartReady gives them a way to assess, certify, and govern every release before it reaches production, with the evidence already assembled for the Change Request. The first time a Platform Owner runs SmartReady on a release, the review is faster, the evidence is complete, and the decision is defensible. That is what accelerating AI adoption looks like in practice.”

C1Secure said SmartReady complements native ServiceNow DevOps and governance capabilities while adding enhanced release assurance and certification support. The company plans to further expand the product’s role in governing AI-powered workflows across industries including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, and telecommunications.

“ServiceNow is doing exactly what the market needs, and C1Secure intends to be the indispensable governance, compliance, and release assurance layer above it,” said Tom Thomson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at C1Secure.
