IBM and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign have now extended their collaboration and expanded the Discovery Accelerator Institute in order to further speed up innovation and research in the field of artificial intelligence and quantum computing. This joint venture is based on their years-long partnership and seeks to strengthen the connection between academic and corporate institutions in order to solve some of the most pressing problems around the world with the help of innovative technology. The Discovery Accelerator Institute would operate within the realm of advancement of AI platforms, computing via quantum physics, and discovery of algorithms.
