At the AWS Summit, Rubrik, the Security and AI Operations company, announced its upcoming Rubrik Agent Cloud (RAC) integration with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, establishing a unified architectural framework to bring semantic governance and operational resilience to enterprise AI workforces. Amazon Bedrock AgentCore provides a scalable platform to build, connect, and optimize autonomous agents, utilizing an advanced gateway policy engine to enforce real-time, deterministic access controls across all agent-to-tool, agent-to-LLM, and agent-to-agent data traffic. Through this upcoming integration, Rubrik allows enterprise IT and security operations teams to anchor their existing policies directly into AgentCore via its core platform features including SAGE (an intent-driven AI governance engine), continuous Agent Inventory autodiscovery, Agent Rewind for immediate recovery from destructive agent behaviors, and a centralized Unified AI Control Pane.

This joint framework provides consistent allow-or-deny enforcement outside the agent’s internal reasoning loop, ensuring that while threat detection remains probabilistic, security enforcement stays strictly deterministic. Emphasizing the operational urgency for infrastructure-level AI security as enterprise threat vectors shift, Devvret Rishi, General Manager AI, Rubrik, stated: “Speed has always been the enterprise mandate, but today, safety is the prerequisite. Cybersecurity leaders estimate that in the next year, half or more of attacks they face will be driven by agentic AI. Rubrik’s upcoming integration with AWS Bedrock AgentCore gives enterprises the confidence to deploy AI agents quickly with trustworthy governance.”
