Global behavioral change company Vitality, in collaboration with Google Cloud, has extended the reach of its AI-driven health platform, Vitality AI, to the United States in an effort to combat rising healthcare benefits costs and help engage employees in their well-being. Using Google Cloud and Gemini Enterprise, the platform assesses individuals based on over 2,800 individual health and behavioral traits in order to provide customized coaching, health advice, and incentives to encourage sustained healthy behavior. According to Vitality’s physician review of the recommendations made by the program, they achieve a 99.2% accuracy rate and help increase engagement in preventative services, mental health screenings, and exercise. International deployments demonstrate that engaged clients experience an average 4% reduction in overall healthcare claims costs and a 180% return on investment.
