Zebra Ventures Invests in Apera AI to Drive Intelligent Automation

Zebra Ventures

Zebra Ventures, a venture capital arm of Zebra Technologies, made a strategic investment decision through the funding of Apera AI to improve the growth of vision-guided robots. This strategic investment reveals that Zebra is committed to the revolution of its operations through the use of artificial intelligence and computer vision solutions. Using Apera AI’s 4D Vision technology, industrial robots gain visual intelligence capabilities to be able to detect, locate, and pick complicated pieces amidst different factory conditions like changing lighting, materials, and geometry. With its light robust stereo vision and AI algorithms that are trained in simulated environments, the company offers advanced capabilities for performing difficult tasks such as picking up translucent or occluded pieces.
