HCLSoftware, the software business division of HCLTech, announced its intention to acquire Jaspersoft, a business unit of Cloud Software Group and a recognized leader in embedded analytics and pixel-perfect reporting technology. The planned acquisition reflects HCLSoftware’s continued investment in expanding its enterprise data and analytics portfolio to meet growing customer demand for scalable, AI-ready business intelligence solutions.
Within HCLSoftware, the Data & AI division, Actian, has experienced sustained growth over the past five years, fueled by rising enterprise adoption of metadata management, data catalog, and data governance solutions. The addition of Jaspersoft is expected to further strengthen Actian’s offering by enabling a more immersive, end-to-end data management experience. It will also extend HCLSoftware’s reach into a large global community of developers, data engineers, and architects who actively build, deploy, and evolve data platforms across modern enterprise environments.
Jaspersoft offers a strong business intelligence and reporting platform. It helps organizations create precise reports, interactive dashboards, and detailed data visualizations.
