TriNetX, operator of the world’s leading federated health data network, has appointed August Calhoun as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Jeff Margolis, who served as Interim CEO and Executive Chairman since December 2024, will resume his role as Chairman and TriNetX Director. Calhoun brings over 25 years of executive experience across healthcare technology, data analytics, and services, having previously held senior roles at RLDatix, Optum Insight, Change Healthcare, and Siemens.

The leadership change comes as TriNetX continues to scale its global platform, which aggregates real-world data from more than 300 million patients across 25+ countries and over 11,000 healthcare provider locations. The transition follows recent key milestones for the organization, including a strategic collaboration and investment with Regeneron, the acquisition of key assets from Zetta Genomics, and ongoing expansion of its core platform capabilities.
