Global management consulting group Sia has expanded its international footprint by acquiring Seven Consulting, a prominent Australian management consultancy specializing in business transformation. Founded in 2002, Seven Consulting brings over 100 consultants across Sydney, Melbourne, and Manila, along with an impressive client portfolio spanning major Australian financial institutions, government bodies, retail giants, and energy leaders. The transaction marks a critical milestone in Sia’s strategic growth plan aligned with its M&A strategy backed by Blackstone enabling the firm to establish a command presence on Australia’s East Coast and reach a combined local scale of roughly 130 consultants alongside its existing Perth office. By integrating Seven Consulting’s proven track record in large-scale program delivery and change management with Sia’s proprietary Data and AI capabilities, the unified entity aims to become a premier AI transformation partner in the region.
