Zone & Co Launches AgentHQ to Bring Controlled AI Automation to ERP Finance

Zone & Co

Zone & Co has unveiled Zone AgentHQ, a platform that enables finance teams to deploy, control, and operate AI agents executing approved actions in Oracle NetSuite. AgentHQ, which will initially feature 10+ domain-specific agents to be exact designed to simplify accounts payable and financial close processes, brings a single, centralized environment where teams can run on-demand or schedule recurring work, assign agent permissions, oversee activity, and require human approval before execution. The offering speaks to an emerging pain point as AI shifts from insights to driving financial execution: how to help automation without giving agents unfettered access to systems and financial information. AgentHQ’s initial capabilities cover three areas: invoice matching, payment management, and period-end close. AP Catch & Correct finds discrepancies on invoices, highlights outdated purchase orders, and learns through corrections to prevent errors.

The Smart Payment Lifecycle discovers discount terms for making early payments, generates batches of payments based on authorized invoices, monitors fraud and risk for payments, and conducts investigations into failed payments. Period-End Intelligence helps prepare journal entries for unreconciled items and recurring accruals using historical financial data. The platform operates within Zone’s broader Control Center, which provides oversight across financial workflows, including procure-to-pay, quote-to-cash, record-to-report, and treasury. “Giving an AI agent a job is only half the equation. The bigger shift comes when finance has multiple agents working across different tasks, on different schedules and with different levels of authority,” said Billie Miric, Global Head of Product at Zone & Co. “AgentHQ gives teams one place to manage that activity while maintaining control over what every agent can do. As agents take on more responsibility, containment, monitoring and control have to become part of the infrastructure, not something added after the fact.” The launch advances Zone’s broader AI strategy, expanding its capabilities from financial analysis and anomaly detection toward coordinated, controlled execution across enterprise finance operations.
