Omnissa, a digital workspace platform provider, has appointed enterprise technology veteran Amit Singh as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Singh succeeds Shankar Iyer, who stepped down to pursue other opportunities.
Bringing over 35 years of industry experience, Singh has played a central role in scaling several major enterprise platforms. He previously served as President of Palo Alto Networks, where he helped drive significant expansion in market value and new security product lines. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at Google as a co-founder and President of Google Cloud, following a 20-year career at Oracle spanning engineering, product, and sales leadership.
Singh takes the helm as Mountain View, California-based Omnissa expands its platform across unified endpoint management, virtual applications, digital employee experience, and endpoint security. Serving over 15,000 enterprise customers, the company recently introduced AI-first capabilities aimed at securing autonomous workflows and device fleets.

“The shift to agentic AI is transforming how work gets done, and the endpoint is at the center of that transformation,” said Amit Singh, CEO of Omnissa. “Omnissa already has the agent on the device, the credentials, the traffic, the telemetry and the remediation; our job now is to extend all of it to the agent and make it safe for CIOs and CISOs to say yes.”
The executive transition follows Omnissa’s standalone growth as a portfolio company of KKR. Singh’s leadership will focus on integrating AI agent management and security capabilities into Omnissa’s core digital work platform, enabling enterprise IT and security teams to safely deploy autonomous software agents across managed devices.
