eTelic Inc. announced that the U.S. General Services Administration has extended the term of eTelic’s contract to provide IT products and services to federal, state and local governments. The company’s GSA IT Schedule 70 contract (#GS-35F-0074U) has been extended five years until October 30, 2017. eTelic’s first GSA contract was awarded in 2007.

“We are extremely pleased to have received the five-year extension, and we plan to leverage it by continuing to provide our federal, state and local government entities with quality, cost-efficient IT services for years to come,” said Mukul Paithane, president of eTelic. “Since our first contract was awarded several years ago, we have successfully performed IT and management consulting services to the U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, Nuclear Regulatory Commission and other departments and agencies in the federal space.

eTelic’s services performed to date under the GSA IT Schedule 70 include enterprise software application development, business intelligence, business process reengineering, enterprise architecture, enterprise content management, geographical information systems (GIS), information security, and IT project management.

According to the GSA, IT Schedule 70 is the largest, most widely used acquisition vehicle in the federal government. State, local, and tribal government entities also can buy from IT Schedule 70. Specifically, it is an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) multiple award schedule, providing direct access to products and services from over 5,000 certified industry partners.
