It has revealed that it is going to expand really big its partnership with Telefnica Germany (O2 Telefnica). Tech Mahindra will help Telefnica Germany by first designing, then deploying, and lastly managing a next-generation private cloud platform to help the telco company modernize its network and optimize its infrastructure faster.
Most of the work will be focused on moving Telefnica Germany’s important operational and business support (OSS/BSS) systems to a private cloud environment that will be highly secure, scalable, and automated. The new platform, which will use Tech Mahindra’s extensive knowledge of cloud-native telecom architecture, software-defined networking, and AI-powered infrastructure management, will remove legacy technology limits and reduce localized computing friction. Having this modern cloud core will enable Telefnica Germany to easily expand network capacity, cut down on operational costs, and speed up the introduction of cutting-edge 5G services to consumer and business segments.
