Bedrock Data has expanded its Bedrock Data Free for Snowflake offering to include governance and visibility capabilities for Snowflake Cortex AI at no additional cost. The update enables organizations using Cortex AI agents to better understand how sensitive enterprise data is being accessed, classified, and governed across their environments. The enhanced free tier now includes Cortex agent discovery, AI agent cards that map each agent to accessible datasets, and expanded data classification by business domain, including financial data and intellectual property. The platform also automatically identifies sensitive information such as PII, PCI, PHI, and NPI while helping enterprises align governance efforts with regulatory and corporate policy requirements.
